Detestable thugs attack elderly couple

Punks punched and robbed an elderly couple who were nearly double their age, police said.

The 43-year-old white men robbed the 79-year-old couple in front of their home in the unit block of Locksley Avenue on Sept. 22, police said.

The elderly couple had just parked in front of their house. When the man went to his trunk, one of the assailants approached with a gun and demanded cash. The punk then hit the elderly man in the face, police said. The second suspect then stole the woman’s purse.

The cowardly punks didn’t get away with it. They were arrested a short time later, police said.
