Details emerging about City Hall holiday party

As The City’s political leaders plot and bluster over who will fill the political vacuum left by Mayor Gavin Newsom and District Attorney Kamala Harris, the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services will be serving holiday cookies and hot cocoa.

Details are emerging about Newsom’s City Hall holiday party reported earlier by the San Francisco Examiner.

While we knew Newsom and First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom would be greeting members of the public who attend the free event, we had yet to learn that the holiday party would indeed have a snow park.

Yes, a snow park will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Civic Center plaza on Sunday, Dec. 12. Sources also confirm there will be not one but multiple “jumpy houses,” as well as holiday music from the Magik*Magik Orchestra.

Donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted at the party, and will be given to the San Francisco Food Bank.
