Danny Glover touts free tuition

Danny Glover spoke about tuition at a "Help Us Make Free City College Real" rally.

Native son and celebrated actor Danny Glover today at City Hall to support free tuition at City College of San Francisco.

Glover, who said, “I’m not just a transplant here. Every bit of my life is connected to in San Francisco,” shook hands and made remarks about making college free by implementing Proposition W, which passed overwhelmingly in the November election.

He said it was the will of the people.

When someone in the crowd asked him what he wants for Christmas, he grinned wryly and made no comment.
