CSS expert to speak to Peninsula cities about proposed bullet train route

Hal Kassoff, the nationally known expert on what’s known in planning circles as “Context Sensitive Solutions,” has been hired by the California High Speed Rail Authority and Caltrain. CSS is the process of involving stakeholders into a planning project. Kassoff is scheduled to speak at a meeting of the Peninsula Cities Consortium, a group of cities along the proposed route for a new bullet train. The meeting will take place Friday from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. in the Burlingame Council Chambers, 501 Primrose Road.
