A San Francisco man is recovering from his injuries after he was shot multiple times attempting to stop people breaking into his car on Tuesday night, according to police. 

The San Francisco Police Department on Wednesday said that the 52-year-old security guard was hospitalized after sustaining injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
