Hillsborough police are asking neighbors if this Los Angeles woman has been snooping around their homes recently.

Alyse Woodward, 24, was arrested Monday on suspicion of residential burglary after a homeowner reported her to police.

The homeowner said she was stunned to find Woodward inside her View Haven Road home when she returned just after 3 p.m., police said Tuesday. The resident went to a neighbor’s to call cops.

Responding officers detained Woodward and impounded her car, which had been parked in the victim’s driveway, police said.

Police want residents who saw Woodward in the neighborhood to come forward. At the time of her arrest, Woodward was wearing a pink beret-style hat and a white/grey tank top with dark pants, police said.

She was driving a silver two-door 2005 Toyota Celica, police said.

Anyone with information should call the Hillsborough Police Department Investigations Bureau at (650) 375-7456
