Community meeting about Fillmore Substation on Tuesday

The supervisor of The City’s District 5 is co-sponsoring a community meeting Tuesday to discuss possible uses for the former Fillmore Substation.

City officials have discussed fixing the long-abandoned building at Fillmore and Turk streets, and there’s been talk about converting it into a jazz center or other community resource.

The meeting will be at the Bay Conference Center, 1290 Fillmore St., from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
