City identifies man killed at Monster Park

The San Francisco medical examiner's office has identified the man today who was fatally shot near Monster Park on Tuesday evening as Ali Sayed Ahmed Shahin.

Shahin, an 18-year-old from San Francisco, was found near the intersection of Giants Drive and Ingerson Avenue around 9 p.m., according to police.

Authorities said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, San Francisco police Sgt. Steve Mannina said today.
