Car catches fire on Montgomery Street near Market

A man was driving south on Montgomery Street on Tuesday when he began to notice smoke coming from under the hood. After he pulled over, the car was engulfed in flames. The driver was not injured.

The driver pulled the car over on Montgomery Street in front of a Wells Fargo near Market Street in San Francisco. The fire was quickly extinguished by the Fire Department. The incident caused all but one lane of Montgomery Street to be closed during that time.
