A Caltrain crash between a southbound train and a car in San Mateo caused delays in both directions this morning.
The crash took place at about 7:30 a.m. south of Hillsdale Boulevard when a train struck a car that was on the tracks, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew.
Crews cleared the tracks at about 8:45 a.m. and trains are now running in both directions.
No injuries were reported, and delays of up to 30 minutes were expected for the rest of the morning commute, according to Caltrain.
