Cable car breakdown and other Muni malfunctions affect Tuesday commute

With drizzly conditions this morning, commuters are advised to take extra time and care to get to and around The City.

Muni is experiencing several service breakdowns.

The westbound N-Judah at Church Street and Duboce Avenue went out of service at 7:35 a.m. because of a power issue.

Unfortunately for tourists, Muni reported the Powell Cable Car line down at 7:54 a.m. and sent shuttle buses.

Due to ongoing roadwork, the left lane on I-80 eastbound between Fourth Street and Treasure Island Road will be closed until 2 p.m.

BART at 8:36 a.m. reported a 15-minute delay at the Millbrae station on the Richmond line in the Richmond direction due to an electrical problem that PG&E is currently investigating.Bay Area Newscable carMuniPowellTransittransportation
