Cab driver pepper-sprayed, robbed in the Mission

A cab driver was burned of his fare and robbed in the Mission district Monday, police said.

The driver picked up the two suspects, a man and woman, and drove them to the 2000 block of Mission Street about 5:40 a.m., police said.

Upon arrival, the woman asked the driver for change and then grabbed his bag, police said.

The man then pepper-sprayed the driver and the two crooks fled.

The driver had cash and his taxi identification in the bag.

He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
