Board to mull over environment director's replacement

The process to replace Jared Blumenfeld, San Francisco’s director of the Department of the Environment, who is leaving to head the federal Environmental Protection Agency’s regional office, is on the agenda Tuesday for the department’s oversight board. San Francisco’s Commission on the Environment is expected to form a nomination committee to find replacement candidates. The meeting is in City Hall, Room 416, at 5 p.m.
