The railroad grade crossing at Bayswater Avenue in Burlingame will be temporarily closed Friday through Monday as part of Caltrain's reconstruction of the Burlingame Caltrain station.
Crews will close the northbound track from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, according to the agency. During the construction new concrete pads will be installed and worn rails, ties and ballast will be replaced.
Train service will not be affected by the work, but passengers using the Burlingame Caltrain station will board from the southbound train platform for travel in either direction.
