Bay Bridge collision causes Monday commute delays

A collision occurred on westbound Interstate 80 inside the Yerba Buena Tunnel on the Bay Bridge between a blue sedan, a blue Audi and a San Francisco taxicab at 6:55 a.m. Monday. The taxi driver was injured, and the accident blocked the far right lane. Commuters into The City should expect residual delays.

An accident on northbound U.S. Highway 101 before northbound Interstate 280 at 7:20 a.m. blocked the right shoulder and caused delays.

Despite the Columbus Day holiday, Muni is operating on a regular weekday schedule.
