Bay Area to see temperature drop this week

A cold weather front is moving into the Bay Area this week, with San Francisco temperatures dropping as low as 44 degrees on Wednesday morning.

In some areas patchy frost is expected, leading to potentially slick road conditions.

Wet weather will accompany the drop in temperatures, with rain expected Wednesday, and lasting off and on through the weekend.

The highest rainfall totals will happen in Santa Cruz county, with as much as four inches anticipated throughout the week.

In San Francisco, one to two inches of rain are predicted to fall between Wednesday and Sunday morning.
