Bat-crazy driver threatens San Francisco parking control officer

A driver was cited for threatening a San Francisco parking control officer with a baseball bat Wednesday, police said.

The man reportedly went bat-crazy because the PCO was placing a “boot” on his car.

The incident occurred in the 2100 block of 15th Avenue around 12:20 p.m., police said.

When officers arrived, the owner claimed he was simply fetching his baseball equipment from the car. But a witness heard the threats, leading to the citation.

No one was injured.
