Assemblymember pushes solar power bills

State Assembly member Mark Leno has two bills awaiting the governor’s signature, each of which would expand incentives for the installation of solar-power units. The two bills, AB 2863 and AB 1451, would clear the way for power-purchase agreements and provide key consumer protections and tax breaks for the installation and generation of residential solar power.
