Arrest made in Pacifica sex assault case

A man was arrested in Pacifica on Monday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman, police said.

The victim told police she was walking on Manor Drive near Milagra Ridge County Park when she was approached about 9:45 a.m. by a man she did not know, police said. The woman told police she was restrained and sexually assaulted by the suspect, who was later identified as 25-year-old Pacifica resident Jeremy Castro.

Castro was located within five minutes of the reported assault and arrested, police said.
