When a valet confronted a man leaning against the luxury Porsche he was supposed to be watching in South of Market midday Monday, the man lifted his shirt and revealed a handgun.
That’s when the man stole the black 2-door Porsche Carrera from the lot near Spear and Harrison streets around 3:30 p.m, police said. The valet had backed away from the armed carjacker who sped away in the car down The Embarcadero.
Police have made no arrests but said the suspect is about 30 years old.
The gun is described as a black semi-automatic pistol.
The 18-year-old valet was uninjured.CarjackingCrimeSan Francisco Crime
