Argument spurs woman to stab man in back in SoMa neighborhood

A man was stabbed in the back by a woman in the South of Market area on Thursday, cops said.

The 36-year-old victim was walking near the intersection of 7th and Stevenson streets around 11:15 p.m. when he got into an argument with the woman, police said.

The woman pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim once in the back, cops said.

The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening, police said.

The victim would not provide police with further information on the suspect, they said.
