Another shooting in Golden Gate Park

A man was shot Monday night in Golden Gate Park and is currently in stable condition at San Francisco General Hospital.

San Francisco Police responded to calls reporting multiple gunshots near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and 25th Avenue on the park's southern edge.

There, officers found a man with a minimum of one gunshot wound, according to police. There are no suspects in custody.

This shooting comes just six days after a man was found stabbed to death at Fulton Street and 47th Avenue. Another man was found stabbed to death Sept. 5 near the polo fields. Both men were homeless.
