Alioto-Pier seeks small business recognition

Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier’s proposal to require the Small Business Commission to declare one month out of the year Small Business Month and to recognize small, local businesses during that time will be heard by the board’s Rules Committee this Thursday.. It seeks to establish a selection process in which honorees would be nominated by the mayor, supervisors, commission members and the public.
