The Alameda Harbor Bay ferry service is running today, a day after high winds and choppy conditions on the bay forced officials to cancel the service.
“We're all set. No wind today,” said Ernest Sanchez, spokesman for the ferry service.
On Wednesday, in addition to the rough weather conditions, a lighter boat was assigned to the ferry terminal. The low-weight boat would be tossed about more than a heavier boat in the rough weather, Sanchez said.
