Accident blocking lane on I-80 in S.F.

One lane of traffic is closed on Interstate 80 in San Francisco, following a two-vehicle collision near Fremont Avenue.

A Pontiac sedan travelling westbound collided with a motorcycle in the third lane of the highway at 8:47 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol reports.

An ambulance is responding to the scene, and the No. 5 lane has been closed.  CHP officials have put out a traffic signal alert, and delays are expected to last at least 15 minutes.
