A special Patrol Special officer

Big ups to this Patrol Special officer.

The officer was patrolling in the area of 18th and Castro streets Tuesday around 6 p.m. when he saw a drug deal, police said.

The Patrol Special detained both suspects, and waited for Mission Station cops to arrive, police said.

When SFPD showed, a computer search revealed that one of the suspects, described as a white man in his 20s, was on parole and was also carrying “tear gas,” police said. He was detained and taken to Mission Station for booking.
