A power outage has left some 6,500 PG&E customers in the dark in parts of San Francisco, Daly City and Brisbane on Tuesday night, a utility spokesman said.

The outage was reported at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday evening and power is expected to be restored to all customers by 11 p.m., spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

The outage is impacting customers in areas including San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood, northern Daly City and portions of Brisbane, Guidi said.

PG&E crews are investigating equipment failure near Silliman and University streets in San Francisco.
