60-year-old thwarts gun-toting thief

A 60-year-old man overcame a gun-toting thief Thursday, cops said.

The victim grappled with the suspect, a 53-year-old man, and apparently won during the robbery attempt in the 1000 block of Mission Street around 7:50 p.m., police said.

The suspect was later caught by police.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene, police said.
