Two suspects were arrested after allegedly ramming a plainclothes San Francisco police officer’s vehicle near the city’s northern waterfront on Tuesday afternoon, police said Wednesday.

The officer was hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening after being rammed around 1:30 p.m. in the first block of Bay Street, according to police.

Police did not immediately release the names of the suspects or what led to them ramming the officer’s vehicle.
