15-year-old boy injured in shooting in the Fillmore area

A 15-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in the Fillmore area Sunday, police said.

Police officers found the boy on the street in the 1000 block of Webster Street about 7:10 p.m. He was shot in the torso.

The boy was hospitalized, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
