VMWare acquires Dunes Technologies

Palo Alto’s VMWare Inc. (VMW) has acquired Dunes Technologies, a provider of IT process orchestration software for virtual environments, for an undisclosed sum.

Dunes Technologies, founded in 2001, is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

VMWare was recently spun off as an IPO from EMC Corp. (EMC), which is still the majority shareholder.
