Virgin launches service to Las Vegas

Burlingame-based Virgin America launched service Wednesday between San Francisco International Airport and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.

The startup airline will offer three daily flights.

Wednesday’s launch party included showgirls from La Reve, Carmen Electra, World Series of Poker Champ Jamie Gold and Kyla Ebbert, the woman who was removed from another airline’s flight because she wore an “inappropriate” outfit.
