Virgin America to offer broadband internet

Burlingame-based Virgin America will begin offering air-to-ground broadband internet service to passengers on its entire fleet some time in 2008, after signing an agreement with AirCell LLC.

The service will allow access through wifi-enabled devices or through the Red Entertainment seatback system.
