Joe Miller, R, in Alaska’s Senate race:

According to news reports, Miller’s private security guards on Sunday handcuffed and detained the founder and editor of an Alaska news web site in a public middle-school hallway.

Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D, in Colorado:

A congressional debate in Colorado briefly turned physical over the weekend, when Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.) slapped Republican Ryan Frazier.

Perlmutter quickly apologized for the incident, which occurred Saturday when Frazier challenged Perlmutter to name the page in the health care reform bill that allows tort reform, as the Democrat claimed.

Jack Conway, D, in Kentucky’s Senate race:
