This week only: Get your money back from Arlen Specter

Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., is closing the door on Republican donors who want their campaign contributions back after his party switch. His website announces a new October 15 expiration date for his promise to return the money of those who want their money back.

Meanwhile, the Club for Growth announces that it has sent notices to 6,000 Specter donors, inviting them to seek refunds from the former Republican-turned-Democrat and providing them with a sample letter to send to Specter's campaign.

Perhaps the two events are just a coincidence.
