Sharper Image Reports August Sales

San Francisco’s The Sharper Image Corp. (SHRP) on Thursday reported sales for the month of August of $21.9 million, compared to $33.4 million in the same month last year, a drop of 34 percent.
Total year-to-date sales for the seven months ended Aug. 31, 2007 were $165.3 million compared to $241.5 million last year, a decrease of 32 percent.
