Scoop: Tiger may be spending his way out of scandal

Can Tiger Woods buy his way out of trouble with his wife — and his alleged mistress? As the web of scandal surrounding the golfing great gets ever more complex, reports claim he’s willing to buy Elin Nordegren’s loyalty … and Rachel Uchital’s silence.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Swedish model is getting a seven-figure (yes, seven-figure) sum to stand by her man. And Elin reportedly has also insisted that her (allegedly) straying hubby rewrite the terms of their prenuptial agreement: Where previously she would have collected $20 million after ten years of marriage, she’ll now be entitled to a “substantially” larger sum within a shorter time period … so she’s got incentive to work things out, capiche?  (Not that she’s all about the money: The couple are also said to be in “intensive” marriage counseling.)

Meanwhile, the links legend might also be wheeling and dealing with (alleged) paramour — one of three, as of press time — Rachel Uchital, whose star attorney Gloria Allred abruptly canceled a Thursday press conference at which she was expected to announce that Rachel had lied when she denied the affair. And according to Radar, Tiger’s people had “extensive contact” with Rachel’s the night before the press conference was canceled, and offered the party planner a hefty sum for her silence — as much as $1 million. (TMZ’s sources say that Tiger’s and Rachel’s camps were in touch Wednesday night, but no financial offer had been made as of Thursday.)

If the rumors of infidelity — and hush money — are true, this could get costly for Tiger. How many other women might come out of the — wait for it — Woods-work to demand their payoffs?

Again, Britney?

Britney Spears, who just celebrated her 28th birthday on Wednesday, seems to have settled into a stable relationship with manager beau Jason Trawick. And, predictably, the tabloids are already predicting — you guessed it — babies! Babies! Babies!

“Britney and Jason have been talking a lot lately about having kids,” a source close to the Spears family is said to have told Life & Style magazine. “She’s madly in love with her boys, but she’d love to have a little girl.”

As for Jason, 37, whose recent buff-bod transformation is as impressive as his girlfriend’s, “he can’t wait to have kids,” declares the source. “He’s amazing with Britney’s sons, and he’s not a partyer or a player. He loves Britney and wants to start a life with her, so she doesn’t have any fears about him as a daddy.”

And yet … we have a few fears about Britney adding another baby into the mix. Things are going so well for her — if it ain’t broke, why fix it?

Blooming Surprise

The lucky ladies at one NYC restaurant were treated to an awesome sight on Tuesday night: Orlando Bloom’s bared bod.

While the “Pirates and the Caribbean” star dined with model love Miranda Kerr (they “looked totally in love,” per gawkers) and friends including actress Rosario Dawson, “a drink was accidentally spilled on Bloom’s shirt and he was visibly” … er, peeved, a source recalls to Page Six. “One of his friends called the flagship John Varvatos store and within 30 minutes, someone arrived with three brand-new shirts.”

“Much to the delight of every female diner, he made his choice at his table, right in the middle of the dining room packed with 200 people,” the spy continues. “He took his stained shirt off and let everyone catch a glimpse of his body before putting on a white shirt.”

Orlando, expect to get a lot more drinks spilled on you in the near future.
