Scoop: Is Britney secretly confiding in her ex?

Please don’t let this be true! Lately, we’ve heard whispers that Britney Spears’ relationship with former agent Jason Trawick isn’t the love match it appears to be — and now comes a horrible rumor that she’s still carrying a torch for Adnan Ghalib.

Yes, that would be the sketchy paparazzo who was not only by her side while she had her infamous 2008 meltdown, but he sold pictures and information about his gal pal to fellow paps.

Chafing under the restrictions of her father’s conservatorship — which led to a restraining order against Adnan — the “Womanizer” singer is allegedly reaching out to her former beau.

A source told Us magazine that the “miserable” pop star supposedly confides in Adnan via secret phone calls.

Let’s just assume that this is a story Adnan planted to get his name back in the press. However unhappy Britney might be, we can’t imagine that the life she wants is one with him in it.

Quit and Tell?

Will Lindsay Lohan’s former assistant sell her out? As Scoop! told you recently, an overworked and underpaid girl Friday named Eleanore quit after just a few months of attempting to organize the starlet’s messy life. And now, tabloids are reportedly offering her payments in the $50,000 range to blab about LiLo’s secrets.

According to the New York Post, LiLo’s formerly “exhausted” underling has resisted the temptation to cash in on her boss.

“She has so far refused the offers, saying she doesn’t want to tell on Lindsay, as she’s afraid she’ll never work again,” a source said.

That might come as some relief to Lindsay, but if reports are true, Eleanore might have to dish dirt for free — to the district attorney.

Football Fan

The Kardashian ladies sure do have a thing for jocks. Mom Kris is married to Bruce Jenner, Khloe’s married to Laker Lamar Odom and now Kim has rebounded from Reggie Bush with another football player.

According to People magazine, the bootylicious socialite is seeing Miles Austin, a wide receiver from the Dallas Cowboys.

“They met at a restaurant in L.A. a few months ago and exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since,” a source said. “They’ve had a few dates and it’s going really well.”

Though Kim had intended to keep her options open, the source said, “they just really connected.” Right.

Catching Z’s

Jeremy London’s far-fetched story of being kidnapped and forced to smoke drugs has raised some eyebrows. And he didn’t exactly do his own credibility any favors the other night, when he got a talking-to from cops after neighbors complained about a shouting match.

Wait, did we mention that when the cops arrived, he was sleeping in his car in the driveway of the home he shares with his wife, Melissa — you know, the wife the so-called kidnappers gave a ride home to before their adventures with Jeremy?

Though he ultimately wasn’t arrested, “at least three or four cops showed up,” a witness told Radar Online. “Jeremy told them that he and Melissa were sleeping when she woke him up at 3 a.m. and started kicking and hitting him. They started fighting and it scared the other tenants who were in the house.” Hence, the former “7th Heaven” star did the rational thing and went to sleep in the car.

Well, gee. Lindsay Lohan is looking pretty functional right now.
