Ritz-Carlton Club opens first phase

The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences at Market and Keany Streets in San Francisco has opened its doors to residents in the first phase of the project, the company announced Thursday.

Located in the extensively renovated Chronicle Building, the nation’s first skyscraper west of the Mississippi, theRitz-Carlton includes 57 private wholly-owned residences and will have 44 fractional Club residences at build out.

Owners of the private residences began moving in Nov. 1, along with a few of the fractional residences. The 12th floor residents’ lounge and main lobby with concierge team are open, while the fitness center and boardroom are expected to open in 2008.
