Rio turns to spiritual guru to keep skies clear for Obama

Rio de Janeiro hired a spiritual guru to keep the weather warm and sunny for President Barack Obama’s visit this weekend. Adelaide Scritori claims to make contact with an ancient spirit known as Chief Cobra Coral, who is purportedly powerful enough to change climate patterns — if asked properly. Scritori’s followers credit her with helping maintain Rio’s renowned fine weather during special occasions and also with warming up London during the exceedingly cold winter of 1986.
