Rep. Capps: ‘It does say in the Constitution, “Health, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”‘

Americans for Common Sense Solutions, a conservative 527 group whose main work this year has been in Rhode Island, tells me they’re putting some money behind this ad. It features video of Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif. from last summer, attempting to misquote the Constitution in a town hall meeting but instead misquoting the Declaration of Independence:

Capps, best known for earmarking federal money for a tattoo removal program, has a pretty safe district, but she might not get her usual 35-point victory this year.
