The latest poll has the Nevada Senate race a dead heat between the two candidates at 43 percent a piece:
Former Nevada Republican Assemblywoman Sharron Angle is tied with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid at 43 percent in the latest poll of the Nevada Senate race from Mason-Dixon Polling & Research. The two candidates remain unpopular, and the latest poll shows 4 percent of voters supporting the “none of these candidates” ballot option.
Still, in an ominous sign for Reid, the latest poll shows Angle with a 20-point lead among nonaffiliated voters (51 percent to 31 percent).
If Angle’s gaining ground among independents, and there’s only has five weeks to move the needle in Reid’s direction — things are not looking good for the Senate Majority Leader:
