Poll: 60 percent still opposed to Obamacare insurance mandate

The latest CNN poll still shows widespread disapproval for the Obamacare's mandate that all Americans purchase health insurance:

“Among Democrats, 54 percent favor the insurance requirement, but more than six in ten Independents and Republicans oppose it,” says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Women are more likely than men to support that provision, but even among women, 53 percent oppose it.”

With the recent court decision by a federal judge in Virginia invalidating the mandate and flurry of other lawsuits challenging the provision's constitutionality, one wonders how much political capital that the Obama administration is willing to spend defending a deeply unpopular law.
