Oracle, Stanford honored by Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula will honor Redwood City’s Oracle Corp. (ORCL), Stanford University and Applied Materials (AMAT) Chairman James Morgan and his wife, Rebecca, and family, with Leading Citizens Awards.

The awards, first given out in 1969, recognize individuals and entities for their outstanding commitment and support of youth.

The awards will be presented Oct. 17 at a gala dinner from 6-9 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto.
