New GOP ads running in W.Va., Ky. tie Democratic Senate candidates to Obama’s unpopularity

Here’s the ad Rand Paul is running in Kentucky, which makes novel use of an Obama impersonator:

And here’s the ad the National Republican Senatorial Committee is running in support of John Raese*, which acknowledges Joe Manchin’s relative popularity as governor, but is counting on the facts that West Virginia voters dislike Obama a lot more than they like Manchin:

*I originally wrote that Raese was running the ad. It’s an independent expenditure by the NRSC.
