Democrats in the U.S. House re-elected Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco, to serve as House Democratic leader Wednesday morning.
Pelosi posted on Twitter that she is “honored” to continue representing Democrats in the House.
The longtime House Democratic leader had been challenged by Ohio lawmaker Rep. Tim Ryan, who has served in the House since 2003 — the same year Pelosi, 76, was first elected House Democratic leader.
