Meridian Pint — mea culpa

In a recent column on an HHS grant to develop Columbia Heights in D.C., I referred to a restaurant which I called “Meridian Point.” Unfortunately for me, the place is actually called “Meridian Pint.”

I don't know whether I should be more embarrassed that (1) I got the name wrong, or (2) that I've been going there for dinner, brunch, and excellent exotic beers for about three months now and I really did believe that the name was “Meridian Point.”

Mea maxima culpa. May this blog post serve as my penance.
