HP to expand renewable energy use worldwide

Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard Inc. (HPQ) signed deals with renewable energy providers San Jose-based SunPower Corp. (SPWR) and Airtricity.

With SunPower, HP plans to install its first large-scale solar power installation at a San Diego facility.
