As I noted earlier today, the public sector union AFSCME made an enormous radio ad buy for a tight House race ($628,000) in western Pennsylvania, against Republican former Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick, R. They have now reported a $750,000 television buy against Republican Reid Ribble, who is challenging Rep. Steve Kagen, D-Wisc.
Both are enormous amounts for a single House district, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of these by the end of the day.
So when Democrats complain about huge, undisclosed campaign money sources, ask them about unions.
