GoFundMe campaigns raise $7.4 million on Giving Tuesday

The annual #GivingTuesday event helped GoFundMe campaigns in a big way this year—$7.4 million in donations were reported in one day by the crowdfunding platform.

The charitable donations on Nov 29 exceeded last year’s #GivingTuesday numbers by 46 percent, marking the largest single day of giving in GoFundMe history.

GoFundMe is the biggest crowdfunding platform in the world, with $3 billion in donations gathered so far.
